We run small, two-bed EBD children's homes across Lancashire, with specialist SEND education inside the same group. Small settings mean a young person is not competing for attention, and having our own schools means their education doesn't have to be rebuilt around a placement.
Two-bed homes for children and young people aged 8 to 17 with social, emotional and mental health needs. Solo placements considered where that is genuinely the right thing for the young person.
Specialist independent schools for pupils with SEND, with our education leads involved from the point of referral rather than once a placement has already been made.
Trauma-informed practice across care and education, with care staff and teaching staff trained and supervised in the same model, so a young person meets a consistent approach wherever they are in their day.
Every referral is looked at properly, by people who know our homes and the young people already living in them.
Call or email our referrals management directly. You will speak to someone who knows the homes, the staff teams and the young people already living in them, rather than a call handler working through a form.
A conversation about the young person rather than the paperwork: what has worked for them before, what hasn't, what they need from the adults around them, and what is worrying you. This is usually where we learn the things a referral form was never going to tell us.
Our referrals management works alongside the registered manager and the team in the home to think about the young people already living there, the mix, and the impact in both directions. We complete the impact risk assessment Ofsted requires before any admission is agreed. If the match isn't right, we will tell you, and we will tell you why.
Where a placement looks right, we work with you, education, health and everyone else around the young person to build the plan together. That includes how education will work from the first week, which is more straightforward for us than for most providers because our schools sit within the same group.
Planned, paced introductions wherever timescales allow, so that a young person arrives somewhere already a little familiar rather than somewhere completely new. Where a move has to happen quickly, we will be clear with you about what that means and how we will support them through it.
If you are weighing up whether we are the right fit, call us before you send anything formal. A short conversation usually settles it faster than a referral pack.
